World Champions!!!...finally the title comes to England!!!

Manchester United got their hands on every possible silverware except the FA cup and the Carling Cup.......But wait..there was still one remaining....and that was the Club World Championship...

It was supposed to take place in Yokohama...which is about 8 hours behind UK time...

so thats a massive jetlag.....but forget jetlag...these solid Champions Went,Saw and conquered Yokohama with their silky play n charming presence.....

In their first match against Gamba Osaka..a team touted to be asia's best ever..the Red devils never showed any discomfort....Ronaldo and Vidic scored their headers with the cool and calm of training in Carrington....the match was a fair cakewalk....

So the European champs proved out to be really Superior than their Asian counterparts...

Next was the final......the big match that would eventually spill out the bitter truth of club football....

The venue was Yokohama's chief stadium....It seated a record crowd that day...most of them for ManU...

The fixture was Manchester United vs Liga de Quito...The european champs vs the Amerian champs....The British Masters vs The Latin Skiller's.....

So the match started..n as usual the latin being the Under dogs started Nervous counter attacks n United kept on denying them in their own tongue in cheek lazy manner....the opponents shooted,countered,pierced.but to no avail....and to every one's surprise it was Edwin Van Der Sar who was game that day....

The oldie just brought out such saves that even youngsters would hide their face.....

an then after Edwin started the show , the attackers carried it on....Rafael kept on spraying the ball into the Area nRonnie n Rooney together started making schemes.....Tevez was rather aloof from their plans....ronaldo blasted to perfection some cool dipping shots...rooney as usual was on fire...he kept rotating his position like ronnie....they kept attacking while liga hoped for a good counter.....first half went goalless....but united need not worry.coz they were already in the mood...

Second half saw a moment of madness from Vidic resulting in a dissapointing Red card...it will affect his Chances of starting The match against Inter in Feb....Then Tevez was substituted....

but in a few minutes the story changed.. ...the ball was in a shooting position for mike Carrick...an d as always he gave in a delicate pass to Ronnie who was near the penalty spot,Back towards the goal....he could have turned around and have a shot..but instead he rolled it up for Rooney standing a yard and a half besides him...Rooney didnt wait for a 1st touch,and drove the ball by curling it around the goalkeeper from an acute angle....N what a goal.....

the one goal separated United from the latins...

But Whatevr...They R now The World Champions for the moment...So wishing them luck for the Coming year...n for evry1 of u folks A merry Christmas and a happy New Year!!!!

Ronnie Makes Century n Fergie his 1/2 !!!!!!!!

It was 15th nov 2008...20:40 IST....

Camera points were focussed to the pitch of the "Theatre of Dreams"(u outta know tht I'm referring to The Old Trafford) .....

Two teams entered the field from the famous tunnel at the very auspicious ground....

'It was going to be an intriguing Battle between the teams', the pressmen discussed.........

And why not??

In fact the team that was visiting was on a high of defeating the Gunners two weeks ago...

they even managed to press out a draw against Mighty Chelsea......They had a trump card in the form of winger Rory Delap whose outside thows had become a hot topic within the british media circle n the premiership teams.....

Bt the Home Team was a certain different material...u know the champion material......

N what happened in the Next 90 minutes was moments of brilliance sprinkled in bursts by one of the Dark Knights of the Beautiful game.....

n to add icing to the cake ...the match wass topped up with two gr8 landmarks.....keep reading as the story unfolds...........................................

the teams took their positions........the captains(Edwin 4 the 1st time) completed the formalities......

there were several shake of hands in the Coaches Area...n why not.. It was The 50th anniversary of Association with football of our Beloved Sir Alex ferguson (Fergie)........The coach of the other Team(Stoke City) Tony Pulis shook hands with Fergie like a man totally indebted for life to him...

On the Pitchside the Game kicked off n players started scrambling with the possession of the ball ....all was normal Until the third minute when a Stoke player created a folly of tripping down a United Player in a normal yet goal gettable position without thinking of its consequences....

And then suddenly the crowd roared in applause.....Oh s***! It was Cristiano Ronaldo with the Ball in his Hand ....Could this Be the moment of truth...Could this convert into his Hundredth Goal for ManU...the team for which he pledged his future on the same day by agreeing to renew his contract.....

He placed the ball in a still position..Took his well measured trademark 5 steps behind n spread his legs in his own style...the air was saturated with anxiousness....But suddenly a thought struck my mind..' Why the hell would he be selfish enough to kick the Ball directly into the net '..n yes, I was true as the Ball was positioned more closer to the outside line than his beloved centre position...The GK too was casual in his approach while arranging the wall....But then too knowing Ronnie's game 4 quite a while now I was Clever enough to expect a Surprise...I guess Fergie too thought the same of his Prodigy....

n as these thoughts flashed suddenly the Ref blowed his whistle....n lets enjoy the moment with the Commentators...over to them-

"Ronaldo ready for the Kick...(Ref blows the whistle)...Ronaaaalllldooouuu....and its in....Hundred goals for Ronaldo....oh thats just what was needed For Manchester United ..an early goal...lets have a look at the replay....oh I think Thomas Sorensen was beaten not by the ball but the Anticipation...too much anticipation to be comfortable...it was actually a lesser swerwed ball than usual ..but Sorensen Anticipated a Bit too much...but whtever...it was a brilliant strike.."


Yes indeed it was brilliant....Ronnie made a sgn of 100 with his fingers after the goal....The crowed Cheered Unendingly for their youngest LEGEND....Indeed He is the Youngest one of the Legends to have Scord Hundred goals for the biggest team in the world(Arguably..bt i'm a fan u know!!)....

and what was to come was a 5-0 demolition of Stoke city whose Morale graph From the start to the end of the match went from high to lowest....


The other goals were Scored by Mike Carrick, Dimi Berbatov and 17 yo Wilbeck...

the yougster scored a blinder...a shot from twenty yards...what a way to score ur first goal that too in the Theatre of Dreams(Old Trafford)....

and Hold on.....The last goal out of 5 was again scored by our maestro(Ronnie)

Again it was a freekick...which was unlike the first one in the true sense of the word UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!!!!!!


gosh...this Boy is unstoppable.....

Hope that ManU Ride on his n his teammates good luck to go on to win an unprecedented QUADRUPLE(EPL,UCL,FA cup,Carling cup)....
